These rings look pretty good, but where are the cross-bar recoil stops? There is a reason why scope mount rails have cross slots in them. A common cost-cutting trick is to use a round shaft instead of a square one. Depending on the recoil of the cartridge you are using, it might do the job, but the contact area is a lot less than it should be. In the case of these rings all there is to control this, aside from the clamp screws, it a small set-screw. Is this a joke? I wouldn’t consider this to be adequate on any rifle more powerful than a .22 short.
