A bit heavy but very versatile. You do get used to the weight after a while. The images seem very sharp and is pretty quick to focus. No real complaints after a week of using.

The lens is heavy but you get what you pay for with a quality lens and sharp focus over all zoom levels. After 6 hours of shooting it s a heavy lens but you simply dont need to swap lenses so it's the only one needed.

For anyone travelling and not wanting to change lenses this is the one to have. From a good wide angle to a decent long lens this suits many photo opportunities whilst out and about. Not the fastest lens but still good in low light. Compact and light enough for all day use. Usually comes with a tripod mount although with 3 stops image stabilisation hand held shots are sharp. This is an old design that has stood the test of time and is still current today with a price tag of over £2,000 new. Good used examples go for well over £1,000 with mint ones around the same cost of grey imports.
