Canon zoom lenses fit just about any Canon camera, and this works excellently. One thing any buyer should be aware of is that Autofocus and Image Stabilisation don't work together – you have to do an old-fashioned manual focus if you want IS. Where that matters is if you're trying to catch a quick shot of something moving in the distance – wildlife, sports, that sort of thing. But if you know that, this is good value. A professional photographer might look for higher-grade optics, but this is more than good enough for most users.

Excellent lens, bought it in addition to the lens that comes with the Canon EOS550D. Brilliant lens for somebody who's just started in photography and it'll last you a long time until you want a better one. I think the lens would be a great choice for all the EOS range of Canon's. It's very light for what it is, so you don't need to worry too much about a tripod just because it's too heavy although a tripod may be useful at the times when you're *waiting* for a shot and your arm starts to ache. Overall, i think it's a nice lens to get, i definitely recommend it.

Bought a 75mm but a 90mm arrived and there’s a black flare in every photo from the lens. Does the job but not satisfied
