As the camera is a Canon I was expecting excellent results. However, I've found it just okay. I have just used it on a seaside holiday in strong light and on the auto setting the images have a strong reddish tinge. I also feel the images are over exposed, very strong colours and the subjects tend to appear back lit even when not, ie. people and buildings are very dark and shadowy. The Programme setting can be difficult to access as the switch on the side is tiny and you have to press down really hard to get it to work ( although my camera is ex display so it might be looser than expected). I wouldn't say the 'different scenes' menu is particularly easy or quick to find either, which isn't that handy when photographing children and speedy access is required. The 12 million pixel max image size seems quite small if, like me, you like cropping photo's. I have had to alter/improve my holiday pics quite a lot using software.Read full review

Nice little (tiny, fits in jeans pocket) point & shoot camera. Just leave it in auto and you will get a good quality photo that is better than most smartphones.
