This is the third Canon Pixma All-in-One I've had. 1 MG2450 only died with the help of removal men, 1 MG2550 bought 18/01/19, showed paper jam, followed all instructions no paper anywhere :-( Even went online to check paper jam tutorials, still nothing. Which leads me to my current MG2550, I decided to go for a Pixma again as other than the "paper jam" incident there have been no other problems, The printers themselves can be bought for £18.00 inc delivery, which is excellent, but the inks can be dear. It's takes two ink cartridges 1 black and 1 colour. For these I have paid as little as £22.00 for the pair, but there are also one labelled as large (same size cartridge but presumably more ink) costing £46.00 for the pair. If you print a lot it might be better to pay more for another printer which takes cheaper ink. All in all a good printer for the home for moderate use. Gave 4 stars not 5 because of the paper jam.Read full review

I bought first printer and it worked for almost a year, then it stopped working: paper jam, didn't take paper as another reviewer mentioned before. Since I had new cartridges I opted for the same model once more. 2 month in and exactly the same problem, so I would say stay away from this printer because it seems to have this problem quite a lot! Problem started from one day to the next and of course happened without a warning when I actually had to print something urgently.

We bought a set of cartridges for another Canon printer, but when we got home they were the wrong ones. As they were opened, we could not return them. This printer was crazy cheap & the cartridges fit it.to we bought it. It does not connect via Wi-Fi, but this does not matter. I just installed the inks, plugged it in to the laptop & mains added paper and did the printing I needed, the other printer is now in the loft. The only fault I can find is that it is very light and does not have anti slip feet, so I tend to push it out of place all the time. This is easily fixed with stick on feet on anti slip mat if needed. Operation is quite and fairly fast, the print quality is sully acceptable although I have not tried it on photo quality paper. The integral print heads are an advantage for a printer that does not do a lot of work although it makes cartridge replacement a bit expensive.Read full review

You would be hard pressed to find a better printer for the money. One word of caution, you'll need both colour (left-side) & black (right-side) ink cartridges for it to work or else you'll get the alarm flash 4 times. I like the way the printer's very light and small which makes it easy to store away. The print quality is fairly good too. I hope i was of help to you.

This printer was easy enough to install even for a technophobe like me. It is early days yet but it prints well and seems to be good value for money. It is a pity that the 2 Canon Prime ink cartridges required - one black and one colour - cost as much as the printer itself. But ink cartridges in general are expensive.
