As a nurse I find it very useful because you all the caloric and nutrients in specific quantities and amount of sugar in each portion of fruit and vegetables. I was quite surprised to know how much sugar there is in one pear. Although we are told to eat more fruits and vegetables we are not told how much sugar there is in a particular. I am not a diabetic but this book to mr is a valuable resource if you want to make healthy smoothies and also weight loss. Thanks Aba
