Actually bought this so I could set up a mic for my foot tambourine. It suits this purpose nicely. It's small and compact, so can be shoved in any of my gig bags, and takes no time to set up. The legs fold in and out nicely. I'm impressed by the mic clip, which holds my mic at angle pointing downward without any danger of it falling out. I've only used it on 2 gigs, but it seems like it'll hold up for a while. It's extremely good value, so unless it falls apart in the next few gigs, which I don't think it will, then I'll consider it a good buy.

This is very goo value for money. Keep in mind it is a portable stand so designed to fold up and therefore lightweight. Metal construction. I use it to mic-up a guitar amp so it stands on the floor. In this usage it is vulnerable to big footed guitarists where a heavy cast iron based stand would be less so. But this is a great little stand with a standard mic head. Recommend.

Really good value compact mic stand. Folds down to a very small size, is stable when in use, and the included mic clip fits a range of mics. I have four of these; unobtrusive, and perfect for meetings and discussions.

Great little stand. I use it for a small stage monitor when playing live. Better quality than other stands in the same price range.
