I bought the Contour Roam because it is waterproof and looks good. It's easy to turn on while on the move and the picture quality and sound is OK. However, those are the only good features. It doesn't have Bluetooth like many other cameras so you can't see what you're recording on your GPS. The intruction booklet is useless and the website is no better. It takes ages to work out how to attach, programme it, download it etc. The website and library to use with the camera is very limited in its features. The camera only works sometimes. When I contacted the Contour help desk one guy was helpful but still couldn't rectify the fault. Another guy accidentally sent me an internal email in which he called their customers 'idiots'. That says a lot about the culture of Contour - they don't care about their after service (well done there Todd!). In summary, don't buy it. You have no help on how to use it, limited functionality and zero after sales service by staff who don't care.Read full review
Slightly nerve-wracking to attach the mount to my helmet in the correct place. Video quality is excellent and it is really handy being able to change the quality depending on what I will use the footage for. Very quick to set up on the computer.

Really pleased with the picture quality, but I don't have any sound, but I think this is a user error.
I wanted a helmet cam and spent months looking for the wright one,i watched a product review on youtube for the contour roam 2 and decided that this was the one I wanted. found mine on ebay and won it for a good price. had it about 2 months now and it is everything I was hoping it would be. picture quality is great good sound quality (but it is a bit noisy on the motorway) battery life is very good very easy to setup and use I would recommend this product to any biker looking for a helmet cam
