Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best-selling in TIG Welders
I was looking at Plasma cutters & noticed that someone else had reviewed this, saying that they expected it to be poor quality as it was so cheap, but that in fact it was surprisingly good..... so I bought one...They were right, I have only used it a few times, every time was on material at the upper end of its ability (1/2" plate), once I got used to it, it made a very nice job of it, trying to go too quickly was the error I made at first, as I have become used to oxy acetylene flame cutters in the past....On this thick material I found that going slower was the best policy and made a surprisingly clean cut. I am very impressed, for the jobs I intend to do with it the limited duty cycle will not be a problem. If you want to cut vast lengths of steel up, you will be better off with a much bigger and much dearer industrial machine. For bits of car body repairs and making winch brackets this is just the job, light easy to use and very cheap. If I was going to do a lot of cutting, I'd be tempted to buy another one of these and use them in turns. A great tool.Read full review
