I bought these speakers to provide an audio output for my PC in my bedroom. This meant that I was looking for good quality output even though I didn't envisage playing these speakers at any great volume. I have a pair of Mission M70 bookshelf speakers already which I am more than satisfied with as to audio quality and level of output so was looking for something similar. I'm pleased to say that the Mission Denon speakers are just as good and I'm more than happy with them, given the price paid. I would highly recommend these speakers for anywhere other than large cavernous rooms that may need extra power.

However one of the speakers broke down on delivery, I was sent a full refund. I ordered a new main speaker and replaced the broken one. I use them with a vintage harman kardon PM635i amplifyer connecting them with a pair of good quality cables. Simply: sound is excellent, open, clean and natural!!! Ideal for small rooms. Value for coins...

I know it's an American term but.... Bang for buck you can't fail to go wrong with these. I run a marantz pm6006 with B&W P4 in the living room so I know a good sound to compare to. I bought these denons for the shed/mancave, these are ran by a Technics HD-81. Sound is engaging not booming more than pleased!! Old school can still have its place at bargain prices.
