Pro: Works with my other Dewalt 20V batteries. Puts out a good overall light stream, good meaning not so bright that it's blinding, but strong enough to kill shadows. Con: Doesn't swivel around. Other than fore to aft, you have to stop and move the flashlight. Not a major annoyance, but sometimes working in tight quarters does make that inconvenient. A bit overpriced for a flashlight even if the brand is Dewalt. No belt or side clip. Summary: Unless you have a supply of Dewalt batteries already, there may be better choices.

This light is so bright! The head swivels, there is a hook and if you just sit it down, the battery is heavy enough to hold the light in position. Some might like it to have a magnet, but I found the light is so bright, even if it's aimed in the general direction of your work, there's plenty of light. The LED uses so little power that it could be left on all day on a full charge. The light has enough power to light things ahead of you in an attic or basement. The light is cool to the touch. Since it is a LED type "bulb", there is no filament to burn out if you drop it. What's not to like? I haven't found anything yet. I use it everyday. Even the bright yellow body with the grippy coating is helpful in finding the thing and holding on to it too. I own just about every 20 volt Max DeWalt tool there is. Purchased this for Father's Day, to replace his older incandescent DeWalt light. This one is much brighter and offers the neat metal hook. I will say that it is a bit expensive, but offers a decent light, and excellent brand name with it. I would recommend this product for anyone that has the 20volt DeWalt line.
