Terminus is a great tableau of the early 1960s. The viewer finds themselves as a detached observer of the events of a single day at Waterloo station. Although only a small boy at the time, I found the whole experience very evocative and it brought back many memories of train rides to see various family members.
This has to be the ultimate train dvd, it shows the emotion felt by those who have happy memories of using what can only be described as the best form of rail transport this world has ever seen, the steam train, and working with, and on them too. It also illustrates the happy times that people had while'st on the railways, both riding, and working on the trains. I tell you, this dvd documentary of life in one of Londons busiest train termini will show how life was back in the days when people cared, and had respect for each other, no matter who they are, or their place in life.
