The book is good but the quality is really poor. I have bought other books in the series second hand from other suppliers and have been pleased. This book was very tatty and smelt of smoke.

Bought as part of a collection made by myself for a Christmas present. I was disappointed as it was a small paperback copy and not the average normal size of a book to add to my collection.
Robert Muchamore author of the best selling Cherub series penned this book "Dark Sun" for "World Book Day 2008". It is yet another simple masterpiece created by the author. Cherub, "Charles Hendersons Espionage Research Unit B", is one of the best collective works for a teenage and upward audience. The premise is very simple for all Cherub books, orphaned children with a high IQ are used by this secret agency to infiltrate and help capture some of the worst people in the world. Dark Sun, also known as "Cherub 9.5" was a limited print book and is no longer available in the high street. With a book price of £1 it was an extremely inexpensive piece of literature and if you haven't read any of the series of books before (The Recruit, Class A, Maximum Security, The Killing, Divine Madness, Man V's Beast, The Fall, Mad Dogs, The Sleepwalker) then this is a great stand alone book. His writing style is very easy to understand and because of this you find yourself being drawn into a world that you could believe was true. Without spoiling the plot here's the summary taken from the back of the book. It's the last day of term. Three lads are clearing out their lockers, organising a sleepover and hatching a plan to splatter a girl with rancid coleslaw. But things aren't what they seem. One boy's father is a member of Dark Sun, a criminal organisation dealing in nuclear weapons technology, while the other is a CHERUB agent sent to stop him. CHERUB kids live in the real world, slipping under adult radar and getting information that sends criminals and terrorists to jail. For official purposes, these children do not exist. Other information is available on the CHERUB Campus website including a free download of this book. Personally, I'm off to a booksigning to make this rare first print limited edition even more collectable.Read full review
good book to fill in some gaps left between books in the series. decent storyline for a small book. Focuses on a character brought in from the previous book and continues his story. good read
