I was very pleased with the quality of this machine. The coffee maker brews quickly. However, I expected that this model would make espresso along with cappuccinos. The boiler on the right side makes steam which froths milk that is placed in the tank. For cappuccinos you make "Italian coffee" in the coffee maker, which is coffee made with a smaller amount of water. You then place a cup under the coffee maker, pour the coffee, then pour the frothed milk into the cup. I can make espresso by putting espresso coffee in the coffee maker but this isn't the same as true espresso which should be made with a boiler and steam pressure. If you want true espresso choose another model. Also,be aware that the milk frother with this machine should be cleaned out after every use. The manual states that you can leave water in the boiler tank after you make the cappuccinos but I prefer to let the steam run out of the tank: this takes a while. Other machines are quicker in emptying the tank after the espresso is made and the steam wand used to froth milk.Read full review

Had been desperate for this machine to match the other delonghi kitchen appliances. It was always too expensive and the cream colour was never in the sale. When I came across this for nearly half the price it was yeah!!! I bought a grinder. Well from beans to coffee is quite messy. This coffee machine can be a bit messy and at times noisy. Haven't used the steam or milk frother yet. Maybe too messy and slow.
