Straight from the box it grinds beans well enough to use with cafeteria paper filter coffee machines. Its not suitable for pressurised coffee machines like cappuccino or espresso makers. It produces to coarse coffee grains, even in the finest setting dial. However it can be in relatively easy way adopted for espresso machines - what I did and am happy it works perfectly. As a negative I have to admit that its kinda messy. Each time you grind you have to clean small amount of coffee powder from underneath - and you know how nasty and easy spreading coffee powder might be.

Advertised as not working/parts only however after removing the walnuts from between the burrs, it's a runner! A bladed grinder or a pestel & mortar might've been a better job for the walnuts!
