Being a child of the 1940/50 period and growing up with the smell of steam in the nostrils, I had been looking for a sensibly priced "real Steam" compilations which truly reflected that period. So many DVDs on sale today are little more than films of preserved railways, which are indeed wonderful places! However they cannot replace that spell binding foggy smoggy misty day feeling of a Steam age platform graced by the vast varations in rolling stock of which we once enjoyed. These DVDs reflect just that, they show the whole railway system, the early colour is superb and the black & white is so atmospheric, it lives. More to the point the price is superb, and the vendor enhances the whole shopping experience with a first class turnaround. Highly recomended on all counts. polemanblue
