I bought this minitor for business. We have specialist piece of equipment which is built around a tablet pc with a rather small screen. This monitor was bought to pack up with this equipment to allow our engineers to view their results on a full size screen. This monitor is ideal for this purpose as the stand un-clips leaving an easy to pack screen 290 x 445mm, 60mm thick. The stand fixes on by means of a simple push button catch which is easy to use and leaves you in no doubt when it is fastened. The stand is a less easy shape to package but will fit easily in a small suit case with ones cloths or into a large Pelicase along with the screen, and all our other bits and pieces. The screen when mounted on the stand can be angled to suit the users prefered viewing position. Two leads are required, both of which plug into the monitor, and can be removed. One is a standard 'kettle' lead for the power supply the second is an HDMI cable to conect to the PC / laptop or docking station. The picture quality and resolution are perfectly adequate for our purposes. I cannot say how good it would be for watching films. For general computer work with a laptop, this screen is very good providing a larger screen than most laptops. I have a limited experiance of other comparable monitors but those which I have tried have perminent or semi perminant mounts in some cases with a fixed viewing angle. On this pont I would rate this monitor very highly. Ideal for use as a second monitor in a hotel room or similar location. Ergonomically a very good small monitor ideal for use on temporary sites.Read full review
