We have used many Dell laptops for the young people we assist over the years. The Dell 830 is one of the most sturdy and long lasting shells of any Dell laptop computers we can buy. In this case Windows 8 and Office 2013 Professional was loaded by the seller. Neither of these programs functioned properly when the laptop arrived. The Windows 8 program would not completely load. The Office Program would crash. We had to take the laptop to a local computer business which repaired Dell laptops. They worked on the laptop and had to reload the operating system and the Windows Office software (at our expense) to get this laptop functioning properly.

Wide screen at 15.4". Fast too. Runs great on Window 7 with at least 2GB RAM. Resolution 1280 x 800 generally. Finer ones at 1440 X 900.
