This item will make a decent first workbench for general purpose DIY. It will be a perfect solution for all of those times you need an extra pair of hands to hold something steady, cut something or attach one component to another and don't have someone around to assist you. It folds away (fairly) flat and is quite solid and sturdy. For the money, it is great value and would happily recommend it. My only criticism is the assembly instructions where it suggests putting the legs together first and then attaching the wooden worktops at the end. In my opinion (as I had to assemble 2 of them) it is easier to connect the two top frame brackets to the bench tops by placing the tops upside down on the floor and screwing onto them the top frame brackets. Make sure the handles face front (obviously being face down when attaching), the tilt buttons for the brackets are on the outsides and the rule/protractor markings are also at the front at this point. Poor quality materials (the top is made from some composite wood and has already broken). 'Stelel' for folding is very thin and has already bent. Part of the legs has some tiny abrasive marks when new.

This is a bit fiddley to put together but doesn`t take long. My main gripe with it, you`d think it was made forsmall peopel. I am 6` 2" and it stand at just 32" high. I`m not sure how anyone would be able to work comfortably on this bench.

Very handy but of kit used three times with the tilt and fold great for holding and cutting round pipes , that job is normally a pain . Would recommend even just for that job .
