Thank you for reviewing my Ducati 748R.
I have owned and worshipped the bike since January 2007, when I purchased it from East Midland Superbikes, (HPI checked at that time) and it spent the first 3 months in my living room!
It has been much loved, cherished and pampered, cleaned regularly, treated with Scot Oil 365/ACF50 and polished with Autogym polish and always garaged.
A genuine UK supplied bike, first registered 01/11/2002, a 2002 model, (52 reg), with authentication plaque No 397, it comes with the full ‘R’ specification, and has the later model ‘slab’ sided fairing in gleaming Giallo Yellow, (the correct colour for the 748’s, and faster than the red ones!!).
Unmolested and free from dubious extra's and tit tat.
Standard ‘R’ spec motor with titanium internals, twin shower injectors and carbon airbox.
Slipper clutch fitted as standard to ‘R’ models.
Full Ohlins model, front forks, rear shock and steering damper.
5 spoke lightweight Marchersini wheels, Brembo brakes with full floating disc rotors.
Carbon hugger, Carbon front V panel and Renthal rear sprocket carrier conversion.
50mm carbon Termignoni end cans and Ducati Corse chip giving full power spec’. circa 105bhp measured @ rear wheel, being approximately equivalent to 112bhp @ crank.
Double bubble clear Ducati screen fitted, white front number board and colour coded mirrors.
New Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2 rear tyre, fitted at last service, and front tyre, a matching Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2, has done about a 1000 miles and is about half worn.
MOT’d until 07/04/2015. Issued 08/04/2014 at 17270 miles.

In short, this is an outstandingly clean example of this iconic Ducati sports bike, with just one previous owner.
It is the rare and sought after ‘R’ version, much loved and looked after by myself and the previous owner, and is an appreciating asset.
Reluctantly for sale as my leathers have shrunk again and my knees are now giving me notice to find something more comfortable!!
