From a shaky reception for this album in 1969, it has now been accepted as one of Dusty Springfield's best. Fans of hers could do worst than to seek it out.

I heard Robert Elms on BBC Radio London talking about how everyone should own a copy of this album because it was so good and so I tracked a copy down on eBay. I wasn't disappointed- love it.

Seeing Dusty live in the sixties was such a memorable experience. She sang Son of a Preacher Man and wore a beautiful blue sequined dress.I was only about 10 years old at the time but it made a massive impact on me.I simply had to have this record. The quality of the remastered recording, including the arrangements and her voice make Dusty in Memphis a milestone in recording history.
