This is a very good product on it's own but it won't change the colour transformation on it's own. In order for this process to work and achieve the best result couple of other products are required to complete the colour treatment. This is my personal experience and you might find that other people have used different techniques to get the result, you will need to do some search before taking on this task and please be patience because this process takes a while. You'll need to wear gloves and work in an area away from items that might get splashed or sprinkled there's risk of Dye falling or splashing. You'll need to strip the shoes of the original colour by applying nail polish remover or some sort of stripper and let the shoes dry. The Dye needs to be applied in different coats to achieve the best result, first coat needs to be left and dried for a while before second coat, second coat will dry with in an hour. In the end you'll need to use normal shoe polish at least twice to lock the colour and apply normal shoe shine wax for water proofing and to give it that factory finish look. Please wear gloves and work in an area away from household items so you won't accidentally drop or splash Dye on them. 1/ Stripper 2/ Dye 3/ Shoe Polish 4/ Shoe Shine WaxRead full review

It would be better if it diddnt fade after one day out .I cleaned my shoes which were a light Tan with acetone after watching a couple of you tube videos they all recommend using acetone to clean the shoes .Then applied two coats of black dye . Left them overnight then buffed then .They looked good .wore them out to the supermarket and the hardwear store , weather was dry by the time I got back home they were starting to look dark brown Not impressed .Waste of money as far as Im concerned

Probably a bit drastic, I dyed white leather trainers to black. I did do the whole process twice which improved the results tenfold. After quite a few wears the trailers now looked like faded black denim. I am VERY pleased with the outcome. I love them more than if they were totally jet black. There is enough left for me to do them again if I do desired. Bit messy to use but fairly easy. I did use a better brush from my makeup box. Successful project for me.

Works fine has the same consistency as printer ink so do not get it on your hands I used a fine hair paint brush to put onto a leather jacket, dries quickly, like printer ink !.The finish is not completely matt black as there is a dark purple sheen at certain angles and light conditions but not really irritating and the coverage is good.

Having never used this type of product I was pleasantly surprised how well it covered my shoes. A good result for me.
