Microwaveable egg poacher - does what you expect it to and good price so recommend. 1 negative hence 4* and not 5* - it came with no instructions. Looking online some websites say to add hot water, some cold water, some no water. I have tried a couple of combinations of cold/hot water and with less/more amounts of water for differing times (1 - 2 mins) and a couple of times the egg has exploded or over-cooked. Once you get the right amount of time and water then it cooks you a perfect egg, though. For me this was about a tablespoon of cold water with 2 eggs microwaved @ 1 min 40 secs on 800w

This egg poacher was the answer to all my problems! I wanted to make eggs at work and couldn’t find a quicker way to do it than with this poacher. All was well till I left it in the kitchen and stole it..... will I see my egg poacher again? God knows, probably not it’s that great.

If you like poached eggs with hard yolks you'll like this gadget, but if you like your yolks runny as I do (and most folk), then don't buy it. I've tried piercing the yolk before cooking, but it makes no difference - still a hard yolk. I've tried cooking for only 30 seconds (where white is runny & uncooked), but you've guessed it - still a hard yolk. I'll give mine to a charity shop.

I love this simple and wee device, as it’s described. 1 minute and you’re sorted. I think I’ve ordered about 6/7 for family and friends
