I haven't been able to play for over 10 years due to Arthritis. I got to thinking about how easy the action was on the electrics I started with (before going Acoustic) and decided to try that again. After much research I settled on this model ( my 6 and 12 string acoustics are also Epiphone). This is so much fun to play. After only an hour I had recovered much of my fingering and once callus are built back up, I can see myself almost back to where I was within a fairly short time. This is a well balanced and really versatile guitar with the coil splitters and Humbuckers. Action is nice an light and tone without an amp is more than enough to practice with if necessary. You can't make a better choice if you're looking for versatility in a guitar.

I've been waiting a while for one at the right price. This came up, in excellent condition. It will require some setup, and I knowingly purchased it with a loose truss rod. It'll take me a while to very slowly put a little bow into the neck to get truss rod to flex neck to seat properly and do it's job as intended. It's a beautiful guitar, nice quiet acoustic sound for playing softly with some woody tone. These are not one trick ponies. A whole lot of character, sustain, and everything from sweet jazz sounds to full tilt Rock/Grundge. I Love It !
