I think there is a lot of misinformation about this glue around. It is not a general purpose wood glue, but it certainly does have it's uses. For most carpentry, standard (PVA based) wood glue is more than enough. Standard glue is stronger than the wood, so why would you need anything else? Well, standard wood glue is slow to set, is thin and runny, but it's water soluble so clearing up any mess is very easy. By comparison, PU glue is thick, not water soluble ( in fact it needs moisture to set ), and sets reasonably hard in an hour or so ( although it still requires 24 hours to go rock hard ). Most standard wood glues are not completely water resistant so they are not suitable for outside use, whereas PU glue is. In addition, PU glue expands slightly a foam so is ideal for sloppy joints. PU glue then I would consider to more of a builders glue than a carpenters glue. PU is ideal for external jobs or jobs where you need rapid curing. It's ideal used on sawn timber. I used PU glue instead of bolts to repair a broken joist by gluing two new lengths of joist either side ~ that was years ago, and it's absolutely rock solid even today. All in all it's a fantastic glue, but don't think it's the best choice for everything, it's not. In most cases ordinary wood glue is at least as good if not better. But in a few cases this stuff is amazingly handy.Read full review

Great product that I was introduced to by a professional carpenter joiner. Now use it for all my marine work. Great glue strong and easy to use.

An easy to use gel polyurethane which seems to keep well in it's tube between uses, provided you use the screw on lid provided carefully. Can be used on wet or dry timber, with water only needing to be added if the wood is very dry indeed. easy to clean up with a sharp chisel if it foams out of the edges during the cure. I tend to use it sparsely and away from the edges, as it is easily strong enough without a complete cover of the joint.

This wood adhesive stuck my UPVC window cill to brickwork okay I had to put weight on the cill as the adhesive expands, a few bricks done the job, the adhesive sets quickly so get everything prepared before using.
