Seller notes: “The lid has broken and been re glued with a chip on the inner rim and the finial re glued - as it ... “The lid has broken and been re glued with a chip on the inner rim and the finial re glued - as it the decoration does not make it too obvious - could be restored slightly better I think. For its age the bowl and encrusted porcelain flowers are good with some minor chips but not actual flowers gone - the chips are tiny on some of the edges but not stand out under naked eye( one side is almost perfect with just minute chips on flowers One of the rings above the handle has a tiny crack but intact - a couple of minute nibbles to the end of the gilt ribbon. The bowl and handles are very good with no damage - there is staining to the inner probably from rose water or scent but not visible at all on the outer bowl. For its age and fragile nature the piece is very good”
