This guitar has an excellent finish. I bought it new, which cost a little more than I had - but it is remarkable value for money. A very glamorous looking guitar that plays as well as my friend's Gibson 335. There are no rough edges I play it through a modelling amp a Fender Mustang GT100. It hands brilliantly, the many facets of that versatile amplifier, Rock, Eagles chorus type sounds, jangly country, funky Chic type sounds, BB KIng Blues, Heavy rock , mellow jazz, and Zappa weirdness - takes them all in its stride. Its not too heavy. The neck is slim and makes barre chords very easy, and the double cutaway means you have access to a complete second octave of fingerboard.

The guitar itself was fine but there were defects on the pick guard. Still waiting for a replacement from Gibson after a week.

Bought to replace increasingly aged Washburn HB30. Frankly, prefer the Washburn. Nothing specifically wrong with the Epiphone but tone, feel and build all seem ordinary. I think I allowed myself to be swayed by its 'blinginess'.
