Mmmm how do I start about this printer well my Kodak ESP3 finally with a full pack of ink and loads of nozzle cleaning gave up the ghost as would still only print green or blue. So me thinks lets try one of those fancy names that have been around for years...a Canon XP-205 came in my budget so purchase I did, if printing a photo from your pc pretty good, but anything you scan you get the tartan effect, and when you up the DPI the tartan effect is just visible. Otherwise it's small, just a few buttons, found the drive on the net easy and prints are ok.
I have owned a Lexmark and Kodak printer which Kodak say is very economical to run. I have to say my Epsom Expression Home XP-205 All-in One Inkjet Printer is by far more economical. I am still using the first set of inkjet cartridges I installed two months ago which would not have been the case had I still been using the Lexmark or Kodak printer, I was lucky if the ink lasted one month for either of those The print quality is fine although I have set Best for my print quality. For the price I paid, I am really pleased with my purchase.
This is my 4th Epson all-in-one printer - if you want a hardworking, willing work horse, I whole heartedly recommend this brand. However, at first sight, being different to the ones I am used to, I was a little worried, but, sure enough, it tolerated my ingrained, habits and foybles and (touch wood) we;re getting along fine.
Changing from another manufacturers model created apprehension. The loss of features that I was used to caused irritation. But, as I learned more about how the Epson differed, I quickly appreciated that my new printer was an improvement. I am thoroughly happy with my decision to change to Epson.
I like this Home XP-205 All in One printer. It is very good for my daily printing. I like it very much.
