Bought this to seal where my log burner chimney goes through my garage roof (Big metal plate round it of course) Seems to be good I got the chimney really hot once to see if it was OK and it was. Smelt a bit when the chimney was too hot but under normal running conditions was perfect seals well and is flexable when chimney moves a bit if it is windy Its the only one I have ever used so dont know if its better or worse than any other. If I ever need any more I would get this one as I know it work
