I have a couple of these they make life so much easier. Well made, fit for purpose, good delivery. Just a word of advice order the large size. The smaller models harder to use, and run out of crickets all the time. Great product highly recommended.

Compact, lightweight and nice features, this pen is one of the best out there. The tubes help keep your crickets in check as they like dark places. Pros •Plenty of room for your crickets and locusts •The tubes are ideal for use in feeding your reptile or fish. Tap the tube and they fall out. They serve as a hide for crickets if you prefer to keep them as pets. •The feeding troughs keep the bottom of the pen clean and food/gel free. They are also transparent. •They can't escape, unless you leave the lid open. Cons •Not really ideal for tiny crickets, most tend to hide behind the bowls and tend to get fall in and get stuck if you don't fill the bowls. (the sponge for water can remedy this but I use bug gel) place something that can be easily washed and dried in the food and water side. •Depending on size of the crickets, cleaning the pen and changing the food/water can be a bit of a pain due to the tubes being in the way and critters running around. Use a spare pen or large faunarium to transfer your hoppy guys into before cleaning. All in all a great little pen to keep your insects in. Better than some makes I have used in the past.Read full review

This pen has everything you need to start keeping crickets. It has a water pot with a sponge in it to stop the crickets from drowning in the water. It has a food pot. It also has four square black tubes with ridges inside so that the crickets can climb up inside easily. The ends of the tubes have clear caps so that you can check whether there are any crickets in them. These can be used for transferring the crickets without having to catch them first. When you remove a tube, a little door drops down to stop the other crickets from escaping. In fact none of the crickets seem to be able to climb the sides of the pen. I have put sand, and bits of egg box on the bottom of mine in order that crickets which accidentally land up on their backs can still turn over. I have found the water in the water pot dries up quickly so I use a water-filled tube with cotton wool at the open end (the same way that you do for ants) and it dries up more slowly and the crickets seem happy to drink from it. I now use the water dish for fresh food and the second one for dry food.Read full review

It's great to keep your live food for your pets. You can see the food clearly and the tubes work well to transfer to the tanks. They have lots of room and you can put lots of lettuce for them to chomp on xx
