1. Placing an Order
By placing an order with JCP Hardware, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. We reserve the right to cancel any order if the item is unavailable, the pricing is incorrect, or if payment authorisation is not confirmed.
2. Pricing and Payment
All prices include VAT and are displayed on our eBay store.
We offer free standard delivery on all items. Any additional charges for upgraded shipping options are non-refundable, unless the product is faulty or incorrectly described.
Payment is required at the time of ordering.
3. Delivery Information
We deliver within the United Kingdom (excluding Channel Islands).
Standard delivery typically takes 3-5 working days.
If we are unable to deliver within 30 days, you may cancel the order for a full refund.
Risk and ownership of the goods transfer to you upon delivery.
4. Returns and Refund Policy.
Standard 30-Day Return Policy
You can return any non-custom item within 30 days of receipt, as long as it is in the original condition.
We offer free delivery on all items, so any additional delivery charges paid for upgraded or express shipping are non-refundable, except in cases where the item is faulty or incorrectly described.
The 30-day return policy excludes custom-made products, such as:
ABS Keyed to Code Cylinders
Extra Key Cuts
Gaskets cut to size
Custom-Made Products
Custom-made items can only be returned if:
There is a manufacturing fault.
The item was damaged during delivery.
There was an error in fulfilling your specifications by JCP Hardware.
We do not accept returns for custom products if the issue is due to customer-provided specifications such as incorrect measurements, colour choices, or other personalised details.
Your Right to Cancel – Distance Selling Regulations (2000)
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.
To exercise your right to cancel:
Provide written notice to JCP Hardware by letter, or via the messaging/returns system via eBay.
Phone notifications are not accepted.
Include details of the goods ordered and the date received.
Goods must be returned in original condition and you are responsible for the return postage costs.
Refunds are processed within 7 days of receiving the returned items.
Exceptions:
Custom-made items (e.g., keyed alike cylinders, keys cut to order, gaskets cut to size) are non-refundable unless faulty or incorrectly described.
Business-to-business transactions are not covered by consumer cancellation rights.
5. Faulty or Damaged Goods
Please inspect your items upon delivery. If they are damaged or faulty, contact us within 7 days to arrange a replacement or refund.
6. Liability and Warranties
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses. Your statutory rights are not affected. All products are covered under UK consumer law.
