I have always used the B&Q fence repair kits up till now, but these are made from heavier gauge material and hold the post more firmly. They seem to take a bit more knocking into place to bury them deep enough, but that is because of the heavier gauge material. Be aware though that these are for posts slightly smaller than 3" and so I had to remove a small bit of wood to get the posts in tightly, not really a problem, just be aware.

excellent product, works well, saves getting a new post. Used on a trellis post, but I think it would also work well on a fence post. saves a lot of work of digging out to reset a newpost. Would advise using the proper tool for knocking it in so as to not distort the upper metal.

This was just what i needed. It was easy to position and drive home through the remains of the previous post. Installation of the Post was quick and the repair spike holds it tight.

Perfect pergola pegging. Just built a corner pergola which my daughter helped me build. This spike has anchored one of the three legs into the flowerbed. Great fitting. Securely held.
