Been using bullets forever, first on a Strat, then other long scale guitars like a Strat. These bullets last a long time for me, they hold up to my sweaty hands and don't corrode as fast as other strings. A fresh set sounds absolutely heavenly, very crisp response. May not fit all guitars as the bullet end is about twice as long as a standard ball end string. Especially on a string through rear of body type guitar. 9-42 is a good starter gauge, 9-46 is a little stiff, 10-52 or larger better on a LesPaul or Tele, with the shorter scale.
