A really interesting recap of the year, giving you an in depth view.

This DVD might disappoint anyone expecting lots of race footage or anyone under the impression that this is the official FIA review of the 1980 season. Of its 50-something minutes maybe ten percent of that is race footage. However, once you get beyond that there is lots of candid film footage of the season that it very interesting to watch. Footage in the pits and on the grid gives a nice insight into the teams and personalities of the day. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be buying the rest of the set but whether or not it's enough to hold the attention of someone with a casual interest in f1, I'm really not sure.
Why you bought it - Any Motor Racing fan should want to see historic race seasons. What you like most about it - Comprehensive coverage of drivers and cars racing in F1 in 1980 What you dislike about it - slight annoyance is music used for race results
