Tried this for valve stem oil seals, no improvement after 2-3 weeks but the sump gasket did spring an oil leak probably due to this product softening it. I ended up having the seals done anyway. I wouldn't bother with this in my experience

I have been using this in my car engine for six months. I just had my car serviced and of course changed the oil. Within a few weeks it started smoking on startup again (often a sign of old valve stem seals giving out). I'm only writing this because I still have smoke coming from the exhaust ,i purchased 5 bottles at 25us each and 78us in shipping, I added 2 bottles to a fresh oil change on my 2008 x5, I have only driven it 250miles, so I am hoping the more I drive it that it will go away then disregard this review,but if it doesnt go away then this product is a sham
