The product is advertised as “brand new” but my understanding is that new filters have a red cap. These filters do not have a red cap. In any case they fit and the K5 blue indicator reset as it was supposed to. Easy enough to replace the rear cartridge but that front one definitely needs the wrench or little hands.

Cleaning doesn't apply since I just take out the used one and put in the new one. EASY to do yourself, don't need to call the plumber as they want me to call them for everything so they can charge me for everything. I wish it was less expensive and I should have gotten 4 filters. I also wish it wasn't PLASTIC. I don't know what kind of plastic this is - is it BPA & BPS free?
