Best feature is the batteries," 4 AA's" U can buy them anywhere, if you are in a pinch. Picture quality very good, close ups are easy with this camera, not as good as my phone, but easier to upload, used it to sell some Hot Wheels and I was worried because the toys looked better in the pic's than to the eye, at the same time they showed the flaws vividly which is exactly what I was in need of. still like my old S3000 it is easier to load the xd card , this unit has a door that doubles to load the batteries and the memory card, if it breaks as the door on my S3000 did, it could affect the battery contacts, This seems to be the only design flaw. It is light and compact, and has the old camera feel when looking through the viewfinder, yet with the large screen on the rear it is very versatile. I have used Fuji cameras since 1971 and still think they are the most bang for the buck. It is more difficult to use than the S3000 but I am picking it up readily, the manual is available as a download, and that has helped me a lot, would prefer the original manual because it would fit in my camera bag.Read full review

I bought this as a gift for a grandaughter, she absolutly loves it. The panorama feature is great, beautiful sunsets, the quality of the pictures is great. The zoom is fantastic, it has zoomed in on wind turbines over 8 miles away you could see the wind turbins and know what they were. So far all features seem easy enough to use, the battery life with rechargeable AA's is great. I would greatly recomend this camera to any one.
Our first Fujifilm Finepix camera was an S700 (7mp) purchased several years ago. We got SO much great use out of it, loved the quality/ease-of-use and features. After some research, we decided to upgrade to the S3200. We really like the larger 3" lcd screen. It has even more features than the S700--more than I will ever use, for the most part. But the customization is fantastic. We use it for our ebay sales, as well as everyday photography around the farm. If you're looking for a great quality digital camera that easy to use, I think you'll be very happy with a Fujifilm Finepix. And I can heartily recommend the S3200!
I purchased this because my DSLR was broken and I didn't know if it would be back in time for our planned vacation at Yellowstone National Park. Turns out my other camera was repaired in time so we took both of them. The lighter weight was a plus and the ease of use was also a plus. The 24x zoom was really handy and although I don't mind changing lenses on my other camera the convienence of being able to just zoom in was a real plus. Once we got home and compared pictures there was little discernable difference if you are going to blow up pictures to 8 x 10 for framing. Beyond that there was a small loss of defination but nothing that you couldn't use. This camera has a panoramic feature that we wern't able to get to work properly but that wasn't because of the equipment it was not having enough time to "play" with it before we left. I don't like real small cameras so this was a great compromise between the weight of the DSLR and a pocket camera. I find the controls to be located for ease of use. The only annoying thing is the way the camera times out and you have to turn it on again if you don't take pictures closely together. A small annoyance but something that I was not used to. All in all I am very pleased with the camera and for the money I think you would be hard pressed to find a better value.Read full review
I love photography and bought this camera for myself as a 70th birthday gift (it actually arrived ON my birthday). I chose this particular camera because my daughter had bought one of the same brand (but earlier model) that she was totally enjoying. The price was significantly lower than I found elsewhere, and the camera is an excellent value for the money. I'm having a great time learning to use and take advantage of its many features and capabilities. Loving it so much!
