Jarvis is amazing and his second solo album is just as good. Leftovers, I Never Said I Was Deep and Discosong are excellent.
Jarvis rocks it up - quality. Diehard pulp fans beware, this is nothing like you're used to. Guitars all the way, almost glam rock in parts. There's still some classic Cocker in there though - "I met her in the museum of palaeontolgy", "And I make no bones about it..." Superb. A 'grower' some might say. Album trucks along nicely. I like 'Pilchard' because it's even though it's only track 3 its just an instrumental. Mad as badgers
