Edge 800 has been around for years but is still a worthy GPS for consideration. Heart rate , cadence, power, lights , expandable mapping.. more features than most cyclists are going to use, lets be honest. I've used this, the 810 and the 820, the mapping functionality hasn't improved with each iteration, this feature is just as good (or clunky) on the 800! I ended up getting the edge 25 and an OS mapping subscription on my mobile!

I bought this article for change my Edge 705. Edge 800 is better than 705, screen very clear and the computer is easy to work.
You can get a little lost using the maps as they are difficult to read as they are so detailed! The point by point navigation also needs fine tuning. The stats with the additional heartbeat and cadence units make analysis of your rides really simple and garmin connect does it very smoothly. It automatically maps onto google maps. It's very impressive/
great product & upgrade from the edge 705 model it's more compact & stylish than it's predocessor, it's bursting with so many functions and is easier to use, it also has a fuction which explains what certain settings are which is handy, the turn by turn navingation via map scource street maps is spot on, overall excellent value this is a must have.
it worked brilliantly for a few hours one day out on a cycle exercisr regime, then it kept freezing and would'nt update, eventually I returned it and got a full refund.
