Having selected this item on a combination of price (didn’t want to pay much) and purchaser reviews, I was happy with my purchase and the durability is much as expected. The “leg” poles are reasonably thick and strong, however the roof frame is thinner and therefore weaker. The roof cover and sides are made from a fairly thin plastic. They proved to be shower and medium wind resistant. I found the construction fairly easy. The instruction sheet was easy to follow and 2 of us erected the frame quite quickly. This is probably easier and better as a 2 man job as trying to do it by yourself could lead to damaging the frame. I used additional leg weights (bought separately) to add weight as it was breezy when in use and heavier winds were expected. The tent stood up to both showers and quite strong gusts of wind. It completely served its purpose as an outdoor space in conjunction with a house party. During the night after use the wind became quite strong with some very strong gusts which lasted all night and into the following morning. The tent survived ok. I took it down the next day late morning as the wind was getting stronger. There was some damage to the stitching on the Velcro straps that secure the roof and sides to the frame but generally the tent had coped okay. I’m not sure it would have survived without further damage had I not taken it down, but my experience makes it more durable than many of the reviews indicate. On the plus side, it is reusable, however in comparison to a “proper gazebo” I also own (which was about 5 times more expensive) it is nothing like as good quality of durable. Ultimately, you get what you pay for!Read full review

Very flimsy. I read other reviews where the whole thing had disappeared over the fence in a slight breeze, and I can see why. I bought two for a garden party.Erected the night before, I lashed them down with long wide straps and ground anchors, but the gentle wind treated the side panels like sails and threatened to rip out the velcro fastenings. There are no ground fixings to the bottoms of the side and rear panels other than at the corners which exacerbated the problem. I rolled up the side panels overnight to protect them, and have since punched eyelet holes along the base so that I can peg them down. Cheap, simple, it does the job, but the quality is just acceptable. The velcro strips which go around the poles are too short and while they meet and close, could do with being another half-an-inch longer for security. Some parted when the wind put the panels in stress. However, for the price - it does the job. Instruction leaflet accurate, but very small printing. Either use a magnifying glass or, as I did, photocopy and print at 150% original size!Read full review

The gazebo was easy enough to put up.. But the poles kept popping out in different places. Great size.. Used the gazebo for about 4 hours then it started raining and the gazebo poles snapped and the whole thing fell to the ground even though there was people trying to keep as much weight of the water off the top of the gazebo. I'm pretty upset as this was a complete waste of money I was hoping to have used this a few times. But all the poles snapped.

The Party Tent Marquee Gazebo is very easily damaged. I managed to slit the 'fabric' by using a knife to open the box. Fixed that with gaffer tape. The poles break easily under very little pressure. They break where one pole inserts into another at the joints. A jubilee clip helped to hold the one I broke putting the gazebo up. Once up it looks great. I left mine up for 3 days and the third day there was a little bit of a breeze. Somehow a couple of guy ropes came loose and that brought disaster as the whole thing just crumpled. It was not a strong wind. If you buy one of these, make sure you have one person at each upright pole when putting it up so that the poles across the roof are not under stress. Also make sure the guy ropes are firmly attached (one of the loops in the fabric came off rather easily in mine) and secured with a good tension to something which will not move. This could be the only time mine is used, but in spite of the damage to some poles and the plastic joints, I might be able to use it again if I do a few little repair jobs. At 54.95 it's not a bad price, even if it is only for single use.Read full review

Overall the product is OK but not really designed for a British Summer as a breezy w/end bent three support rods. The size is really useful but we were unfortunate to be delivered two side panels short
