plus and minus for nail softener
The GEHWOL nail softener is a product that I have used for a few years now. It works fully as described. I have tried and tried to get some sort of treatment from my local GP but for some reason nothing is available therefore I was over the moon when I found your product on the internet. The only downside to the product is that it has a tendency to turn the toenail a brownish colour!

Disappointing !
I bought this in the hopes that I would finally find a nail softener that actually worked for me. Years ago I bought one that did the job, but when I got a second bottle (of the same product) a couple of years later, it smelled different and did not work. Guess they had changed the ingredients. THIS sounded good, so I bought a bottle, but it took a week of applying it twice a day before I noticed anything happening and that was a very slight softening. Undaunted, I tried it for another 2 weeks, but it never actually made my nails as soft as the very first bottle I bought did. Very disappointing !I bought this in the hopes that I would finally find a nail softener that actually worked for me. Does what it says on the tin
Does what it says on the tin. For very thick nails you'd need to use daily for a few days then soak in the bath before cutting nails. Works for me and wish this product had been available when I was younger.

My mum has suffered terribly from ingrown toenails for years and is diabetic she had tried everything with no success. I saw this and thought it's worth a try and bought it for her. Within 24 hours of application she was astounded by the results she no longer had any pain! She could wear her shoes again and it had also melted away alot of the very hard skin that has built up around her nail. Will definitely be re-purchasing for her as it's a long term problem she suffers with.
