This, the second album by Go West was a departure from their slick singles-aimed first album. Like the eponymous 1st disc, the songs are strong, well crafted gems. The difference being in that more experimentation and verve permeate throughout. From the drive of "I Want To Hear It From You" to the ballad "From Baltimore To Paris" a refreshing range of mood and tempo abound. All in all, a smooth soul/jazz classic.
fantastic album, great follow up album why did i buy this? i suppose i reliving the 80- 90's! was a huge fan of go west and nothing has changed. had all albums on vinyl but now have no turntable to it time to start replacing with cd's peter cpx has the most amazing voice and don't look too bad either lol a good buy if you like 80's music
Good, classic - Go West CD - Covers all the good time hits! The CD was extremley good value for money - Highly recommended!!
It's scandalous that this album didn't do well when released commercially - it's absolutely brilliant, I seriously can't fault it. Go West didn't make a bad record; they didn't even make good ones: They made great ones. And this is another.
