We have very strong sunlight coming through our wooden blinds(after sunrise) which disturbs our sleep.. Well not anymore thanks to this amazing blind! I purchased another one for my son as he does shift work and was finding it hard to sleep during the day because of the sun coming through his regular blinds. An added bonus is there's no damage to your walls and its portable too. I also have 2 downstairs on my bi folding doors as in the summer the heat is unbearable for me. Now I can sit in the living room without the glare of the sun. I will purchase another for the large window on my landing which also brings in a lot of light. As you can tell I'm not a summer person and I dislike the intense heat of the sun. These blinds have been invaluable to me.

Ultimately this product does what it says. The black out material is nice and thick and the Velcro system to shorten the curtain is effective. The only thing that does not work well are the suction cups that are meant to secure it to the window. Some of them do last however most of them come unstuck over time ranging from a few minutes to a few hours. If it falls down during a daytime sleep the change in brightness in the room often wakes my son prematurely.

Possibly better for a normal window but we have a velux type window so the suckers did not stick for long before coming off. The blind did not fall off but it had some gaps with light coming through. We decided to use an ikea temporary stick on blind for the velux window.

Only 4 stars as they do fall down only 2 fell down , so just need to double check that they are all stuck on completely . Worth it to hide gaps and will be excellent to keep room cool . Good design , just hope my child doesn't climb on windowsill and pull it down 🤦♀️

The blackout fabric is great and when it’s up against the window provides excellent black out, but the suckers around the edge of the sheet just don’t want to stick. My window is clean and I cleaned the suckers because they felt slightly greasy and I thought that might have stopped them attaching to the window, but it still didn’t work, so I bought some self adhesive Velcro pads and put them around my window frame and then I’m able to use the Velcro patches around the edge of the blackout sheet to stick it up.
