Having had recent surgery, I get very tired and have to be careful when cleaning; the usual vacuum cleaners are too heavy and not suitable. The G-TECH AirRam cordless cleaner is light enough for me to manage with one hand and incredibly good at removing general dust and hair. It works right up to the skirting boards and easily goes from wooden floors to hard tiles to carpets, performing brilliantly on all surfaces. The vacuum 'head' is very manoeuvrable and allows awkward parts to be cleaned easily. I'm totally delighted with it and love being able to clean the house, including the stairs, easily. The battery life has been raised by some reviewers as being short, but I've not had any issues with it; I can't clean for very long anyway and it's easy to plan a re-charge in advance of use, when needed. I messaged to request some basic instructions as although it looks quite simple to use I thought I would benefit from some idea which way the battery went and how to open the base to empty the tray. There was nothing at all with it. My Air ram was also quite badly scratched. It does work but I regret not paying more money for a better one.

Fantastic machine. Very easy to use around furniture. Picks up dog hair really well. Also human hair. No bags. Just empty straight into rubbish bin. Still have to use another hoover with a hose to get into the tight nooks and crannies. The down side is that the human hair ( Long stands ) and cotton etc. Have to be unpicked from the brush roller. The filters have to be rinsed through and left to dry. Could have spare filters. If you wanted to use machine again sooner than later. The battery will need charging once it runs down. Once the brush roller has been unpicked, the filters cleaned, battery charged. The machine is ready to do its marvelous work all over again.
I love my Gtech it's very light & easy to use & has great suction. It is also very easy to empty. It's greatest drawback is lack of tools & I had to purchase a handheld vacuum to do the edges of the carpet/hard floors & the furniture.

I bought this to upgrade on the GTech Carpet Sweeper - and WHAT an upgrade it is! I LOVE this product - and it is most definitely a hoover, not a sweeper. It's extremely powerful, very easy to manoeuvre, recharge, carry around etc.etc. it gets under furniture and can be stored flat under my sofa. Other reviews regret the lack of attachments, but if you had those, it would not be so handy to use. The joy of the Airram is that it's always accessible and ready to go - and picks up better than my Dyson, although I keep the Dyson for its dusting attachments. I would NOT be without it, and my house is cleaner than its ever been - with so little effort!
