This is sold as used, but, I actually think I got a brand new one. There is absolutely zero wear indication and the box looked unopened. In any case, whether it is new or used, it is perfect. Be aware that there is some connector that looks similar to the power plug, but it isn't. So, if you try to plug the power block into that connector, it won't work. I wouldn't be surprised if some people return it thinking they got a bad unit when it was perfectly fine.

I've used better docks, but this one is fine for what it is. I wish it resulted in a smaller footprint for the laptop itself, and it's kind of expensive. But it works well and helps keep the tangle of cords under control. I'm noticing that there's some sort of issue with the video port that occasionally causes the signal to the monitor to drop. This wasn't an issue before I got the dock, so I'm assuming there's something slightly wrong in the dock itself. So far, not a major problem, but I may not be able to use the dock for long if this keeps up.

This docking station is very light and compact, yet sturdy and versatile. It is simple and intuitive and uses the same power supplies as the laptops that are compatible with it, as one would expect. No space is wasted on it that could have been used for ports. I like the dual Displayport monitor support. It is lockable and taking a laptop in and out of it is quick and easy.

If you have a computer which is comapatible witht this docking station, you will not go wrong. I have 2 of them one in office and one at home. Plug it in and you can run on 3 screens and all your accessories connected instantly, including the power cable. Love it. Well, for now i love it. Once we change the laptops to a different brand or type, the docking station will become a garbage. There are new ones out there that connect to usb and that might be the future to keep it interchangable between models and types.
