Have had marginal success with off-brand, re-built cartridges for our HP2600n. Most don't last very long and often start "leaking" toner. Had blue streaks from the cyan cartridge, so decided to replace it with an HP branded one. So far, no blue streaks and very happy with results. Will continue to upgrade to HP carts as the re-built ones fail. Printer is old enough that the HP carts are reasonably priced. Price and service here was very good!

Original packaging was opened and toner was in new condition. The safety tape that you pull out to activate, was in place. Very pleased with this product. Prints very well and am satisfied.

Having very good results with the HP color laser printer. Bought it to replace an ink jet and a copy machine. Produces copies that don't degrade with moisture. Used to do photos on an inkjet but got tired of inks running when moist. This printer is a good choice for all around printing. My experience with toner is that the waste toner tank fills up before the end of life, particularly with the color toners which are not used as much as the black. The result is streaks left on the copies. Shaking the toner cartridge and cleaning the belt allow a few more good copies to be printer before the streaks re-appear. My guess is that humidity causes the waste toner to collect on one side as the streaks usually appear near one edge. Also, when trying to re-use a cartridge by refilling with the toner kit, I found it difficult to empty the waste toner tank and the streaks started again after the refill. Perhaps the cleaning of the waste tank is done much better at the re-man places ( not to mention the mess!). Thanks for reading.............. KenRead full review
Bold colour cartridges that come properly packaged. Only problem - if you don't do a lot of colour printing, after a while the cartridge's colour quality dissipates and you are left with very faded prints even though the cartridge might be more that half-full. On 2 occasions, I had to throw out half-used cartridges because they kept leaving streaks across the printed paper or were producing very faded prints - terrible waste of money considering how expensive these cartridges are. However, when new and frequently used, they produce excellent quality prints (better than refills). Retail cost of 4 cartridges required for printer more or less equals the cost of a new printer WITH 4 new cartridges already installed..........too expensive!!!
About my purchase of this toner cartridge, the eBay review prompt asks, "Why did you decide to buy it?" That's easy -- my printer takes four cartridges and I like to always have a back-up for each of them so I don't encounter any annoying delays in printing. If you also own a printer that takes the 6000 series of toner cartridges, you know how expensive they've become at the office superstores. I'm happy to patronize a small businessperson on eBay who can offer the same product at a more affordable price. --ghcbnf
