Have used the Hammerite Satin Enamel Paint several times now. It covers well with one coat, but two coats are nearly always better. Leaves a nice sheen to the radiators rather than a high gloss and seems to stay white for a considerable time. Being oil based it is much more hard wearing than the water based alternatives although it will more prone to yellowing over time. Only downside is that it is rather pungent so always use in a ventilated area....

After reading reviews I decided ignore the comments about this product being runny thinking people must have been using brushes. Thinking I would be OK using a high density 4" roller which would overcome the problem. Well it wasn't as bad as I had read but I still got drips coming off the bottom of the radiators which was a result of me may be pressing to hard going along the vent on top of the rads.. So yes it is thin and runny. Hope this helps someone else.

The paint is very easy to apply and looks very good when finished. The only problem is that when you turn the radiators back on the smell is horrendous even with the windows open.

Terrific paint. Easy to apply, a good coverage and the finished radiators look great.

I've used this paint before and would never use anything else for my radiators. It goes on well and gives a good clean looking finish. After two coats (on a cold radiator of course) it gives an excellent finish and lasts for years. Very pleased with this product.
