I like it because now the len is no longer under production and its quality is excellent. New len which is as high quality as this one are very expensive and difficult to find.
The purchase and communications were excellent.I am also a repeat customer. The lens was a beautiful lens with excellent quality.I am very happy with this lens.
I disagree with the other reviewer's assessment of this lens. It is still being offered by Hasselblad and is one of their best lens.
Actually I have the CF version, not the CFE; optically they are the same though the latter has smoother mechanics and rubberised grips on the aperture ring, etc. In a sense it's a cheat calling this lens "macro" as it gets nowhere near a 1:1 image size on film without adding extension tubes. If it's real close-up you want, you must have at least a 56mm tube and frankly I recommend having a 32mm as well. The smaller tubes are less useful as the focusing ring covers their range so subtelty in adding a few extra millimetres to the extension isn't much use. However, getting "close focus" on medium format is still something pretty special, and this is still a nice everyday focal length when used at "normal" focusing distances as well. Rick Nordin's book recommends it highly and so do I, if you can afford one.Read full review
