Highlander is a classic film with great atmosphere, and interesting ideas. It's director, who cut his teeth producing music videos, bought his skills to the movie with great effect. Sadly, in Highlander II, he seemed to forget the first film, and what he created. Here we have a low budget sci-fi, with awful production values, no plot to speak of, and a movie so lacking in confidence in itself, that they had to contrive to have Sean Connery's character magically resurrected. Add the back story that the immortals are from an alien planet, and you have a movie that, whilst watchable if you have 90 minutes to kill, is a good example of how NOT to make a movie. Still better than any film that followed, but little more than a Sunday afternoon oddity.

Played this disk tonight and this is my review . Very poor volume control . No language selection . No option for subtitles ( which i need ) . Over all this was just like one of those free newspaper promo disks . Not the quality i expected .
