For eBay to ask if a guitar case is enjoyable is like asking if the trunk of a car is enjoyable. What happens if you say no? Is that a bad case? No it isn't. It's actually a pretty good one if you understand that it will do fine in protecting your guitar while in storage or on your way in and out of practice, say, but it's not designed for heavy gigging. It only has 3 latches that seem prone to come undone fairly easily, so again, it stands no chance on the road. It fits a lot of guitars, including Gibson and Epiphone ES 335s with a bit of under-padding, and that's a good thing!

I'm venturing a guess that this is 5-ply construction, though it's not stated in the specs. It feels as solid and weighs as much as my other 5-ply case. Three latches and none of them lock so there is no key. However, the middle latch is on a hasp so you can use own small padlock. It has the standard plastic handle you see on most quality wooden cases. The fit and finish is flawless. The interior lining is adequate, soft and a dark blue. It fits my Blue Burst Firefly semi-hollow body guitar like a glove.

This seems to fit my Ibanez AS73 perfectly and is a well made, solid case. My only issue was that it seemed to be JUST MADE, meaning it smelled like the glues used to make it. I ended up keeping it opened up outside in the shed (with the door open) for the first week, to improve the smell. But basically I'm convinced that long term It'll be an ideal case for my guitar.

Bought this for the 12 string version of the as series, and won’t fit. The 12 is 3” longer. Great look and feel though.
